Frequently Asked Questions

Q : Is it difficult to raise chickens?

A : It is quite simple to care for chickens, but daily attention is needed to remove eggs, close the door to keep out predators and provide fresh food and water.  I spend about 5 -10 minutes per day on these activities.  Very simple and not much of a learning curve, just common sense care.  About once every three weeks nest bedding should be change and some cleaning performed.
